Imani Harvest Ltd. Selects AGF Freezers for African Food Processing Solutions

Tanger Med, Morocco – AGF Freezers Ltd, a global food freezing manufacturer, is selected by Imani Harvest Ltd., a major agricultural value-chain company based in Uganda, Africa, for its food freezing and processing solutions. This customer win includes an Individual Quick Freeze (IQF) Tunnel with Sequential Defrost as well as a dewatering shaker and blow off air knife for moisture removal before freezing. AGF will be processing popular fruit products such as mangoes, bananas and jackfruit.

Imani Harvest selected AGF Freezers for the company’s attention to hygienic engineering design and manufacturing construction. The Sequential Defrost feature will offer significant cost savings as it reduces downtime while processing fruit products on a continuous basis. Installation is expected in Q2 2025.

Says Mourade el Hassouni, General Manager of AGF Freezers Ltd (Middle East & Africa), “We see this as the start of a long partnership between AGF Freezers and Imani Harvest Ltd. As we are based in Tanger Med, a hub port facility in Morocco, we offer customers a state-of-the-art infrastructure to deliver their equipment on time, including access to parts and services.
